Here at Deepgrooves, the minimum quantity for pressing records has been 300 for some time now. But we do understand that smaller editions are attractive to debuting bands, acts and producers. Especially when you wish to prove yourselves and make an impression whilst promoting your music.
That’s why we decided to make the minimum order quantity 200 records again! Does that sound like an interesting deal? Then order via the calculator on our website, type us an e-mail or contact your account manager directly!
As space in our old warehouse became very tight, we moved to this new one a few months ago. In this section we store the raw materials and semi-finished products in a dry and safe manner.
We made the sensible decision to no longer shrink wrap our vinyl records. Reusable seal bags, PP, and PE sleeves are now the new norm within our packing processes. Deepgrooves’ mission is to produce vinyl in the most green way possible. Which begs the question: why would we include elements in our production processes which we deem unnecessary and that we know are harmful to the environment? The materials that our various alternatives are made of prove far less taxing for Mother Nature than the plastic we used previously. Also, our seal bags can be reused! Therefore, records will be protected at all times, even in the collection of the consumer. And the lessened demand for plastic will decrease the production of polluting materials!
This is not an April Fool’s joke. We really think that using single use shrink wrap is something that is no longer desirable these days.
Deepgrooves is proud and happy to announce that we are expanding again with extra capacity. Just installed new machines in our plant to fulfill the growing market of vinyl.
From now on we also press 10 inch records!
